Hello! I'm 21 and this is my first experience of a UTI. It started with a slight burning sensation, then there were pains in the lower abdomen. With a feeling of confusion, I went to the doctor who prescribed a 10-day Bactrim treatment, 2 times a day with an interval of 12 hours. I took 5 doses and only then did I notice some improvement. After 9 weeks of ordeal with a urinary tract infection, the doctor prescribed me Bactrim 2 times a day. Nothing changed on the first day. On the second day, soreness and burning sensation decreased by 40%. I'm writing this at the end of the third day, the pain and discomfort have almost completely disappeared. I have only positive expectations.

I took 2 doses and in 24 hours about 70% of my UTI symptoms were gone.

The most I had was nausea, but this happens to me with almost all antibiotics.
